Music-and-Dance Therapy at Galeria Dondé

Okay. I know that “music-and-dance therapy” isn’t a particularly brilliant name. But for now we don’t have another one, and this one describes fairly well what we’re trying to do. Anyway, that’s not what I want to write about.

What I do want to write is that on January 10, 2026, at 8:00 PM, at Galeria Dondé—an amazing place, truly!—I’ll be performing in an improvised duo with briliant dancer, Marta Dębska. And that it’s going to be good. Apparently tickets are selling fast; you can reserve and buy them by contacting the gallery.

Marcin @ Summer Guitar Festival

I’m invited to this year’s edition of the Summer Guitar Festival in Krzyzowa, Poland. On 24.07 I’ll perform my broken songs with Miki Wielecki on percussion and Andrzej Kupniewski on harmonicas. And the next day I’ll give a lecture on fretboard mapping. I think it’s a cool topic – the guitar is a bit ambiguous in this respect, but I have a few tricks that help me find my ways on the fretboard. And I’d be happy to share. Anyway I’m happy to be a part of this guitar party – Krzyżowa is cool, I wholeheartedly recommend the whole festival – you can sign up via guitarfestival.okis.pl. More information TBA, stay tuned.

Marcin Olak Trio – guess who’s back!

I know, we’ve had a long break. I mean long, Crossing Borders was out in 2012 – damn, 12 years? Well, I needed it. Anyway, now I ready to play that jazz thing again, some new songs, new attitude.

We played some new tunes in Chrzęsne, really cool place for music. With Maciek Szczyciński on bass and Michał Bryndal on drums.

Guitar Summit @ Ad Libitum
